Sidoeun's Group's story

Sidoeun, a 35-year-old married mother with two children who are dependents and still in school. She lives in a village in the Ponhea Krek district and grows cassava plants, supplementing her income by running a small business in the front yard selling biscuits, cakes etc and also raising pigs to gain additional income. She has been with this business for more than 1 year. With her current business, she earns less than 7 US dollars per day. Sidoeun leads of a group of four female members. This is Sidoeun's group’s first loan with VisionFund. Now she is requesting a loan to buy cassava seedlings for her farmland. With this loan, she hopes to grow more cassava and earn more income to make a living better and also keep her children in school.
