José's story

José, aged 43, is married with three children aged between 7 and 20 years old, whom he dreams of seeing become successful people. José has a business providing auto-painting services, an activity that he learned 23 years ago when he worked as an employee at an auto workshop. Gradually he was able to open his own workshop, where his customers began to recognize him and in this way he began his own business adventure. In order to achieve better results, he decided to specialize in this specific task, taking courses in painting for transportation vehicles. With his savings, he acquired his first basic equipment and sub-leased a parking area for starting his business.

Automotive painting is his main activity, with which he has been able to achieve his family's upkeep. He goal is to achieve better growth, and for his son, who helps him during his vacations, to be able to study much further and specialize so as to be able to provide a modern offering with the technology that requires.

This is the reason for him coming for a Kiva loan. This is his first loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, with which he will purchase a catalyzer base and epoxy paint, to begin his dream of perfecting his service.
