A loan of $1,150 helped a member to buy clothes and fiber for her sewing business.

Sajida's Group's story

Sajida is a 31-year-old woman. She is married and lives with her family, a husband and three children. All of her children are studying. Her husband is a rickshaw driver and has operated his rickshaw for over 3 years. He facilitates the passengers with his driving services. He has fixed the charges route-wise and area-wise. Sajida’s days are focused on managing the progress of her sewing business. She operates her sewing works to supplement the income for her family. She is a very caring lady in nature and tries to fulfill the needs of her family with her efforts. With this loan, Sajida will purchase unstitched clothes and fiber, in bulk, to be able to sew them and offer to her clients for purchasing. She is hopeful that her income will be increased by offering the stitched dresses to the clients.
