A loan of $1,150 helped a member to buy a buffalo.

Nazeeran's Group's story

Nazeeran, 41 years old, is married and has 4 children. Two of her children work and two daughters stay at home and help Nazeeran with her household tasks. Nazeeran's husband has operated a livestock business for many years, selling animals and their milk. The quality of milk he provides is very good; therefore, he is known as a credible person among his customers and makes good sales every month. Nazeeran is a housewife who stays at home and manages her household responsibilities. In her spare time, she provides full support to her husband by milking the buffaloes and selling the milk to her community clients.

Nazeeran has applied for a loan from KIVA's partner Asasah for her husband, who wants to buy another buffalo to help him get a larger quantity of milk and increase his profits. Nazeeran is very hopeful that a loan investment will help him earn larger profits.
