A loan of $600 helped a member to buy more pigs and pig food.

Mouy's Group's story

Mouy is a 62-year-old married woman with three children who raises pigs in a village located in Thmor Koul district. To better support and feed her pigs healthfully, she produces rice wine. She has been in this business for 10 years and she earns around 4 U.S. dollars per day.

Mouy leads a group of two members. She and her group have been with VisionFund since 2005 and 2006, respectively. The loans from VisionFund helped her to have regular income and make a better living.

Now requesting another loan, she will use this loan to buy more piglets and feed for her pigs. She hopes this loan will enable her to have more pigs and raise them to be fat and healthy. Also, she hopes to earn more income.
