Maria Teresa's story

Teresa is a member of the “Mujeres Emprendedoras” (Resourceful Women), a Communal Bank whose members meet every thirty days in the town of Cusco. Teresa is a resourceful and hardworking mother who engages in selling clothes. She owns a small stand in one of the most popular markets in Cusco. She has been engages in this activity for a few years already, and things are going very well for her thanks to the dedication she works with. In this occasion she is requesting a loan to buy clothes such as trousers and blouses. Teresa is thankful for and gives great value to the loan and she commits to complying with the repayment of her monthly dues.
