A loan of $1,200 helped to buy a motorbike for his work.

Randall Francisco's story

Randall is a 27 year old man who lives with his family in Osa, which is located in Caña Blancal, in the province of Puntarenas. This area is known for being a rural zone much visited for its beaches. Its main economic activities are tourism and agriculture.

He has both the motivation and the support of his relatives which makes it easy to get on with life. In addition, it is very important to him to acquire this form of transport as the demand is getting stronger and the residents have been satisfied with the service provided, as Randall is a construction worker.

What Randall is currently asking for is a microloan of ¢596,000 (five hundred and ninety six thousand coronas) (CRC) to buy a motorcycle to get to work every day and to give the best possible service and support to his project.

Randall is a member of the Empresa de Crédito Comunal de Caña Blancal, one of the 150 member organisations of EDESA in Coasta Rica. With this loan he hopes to grow on a personal and economic level. He also notes that thanks to these kinds of organisations and their loan facilities he can dedicate more time to productive activities.
