A loan of $4,650 helped a member to increase her stock of utensils.

Msakuzi Group's story

Fransiska, in her late thirties, is a married mother of three children, all of whom attend school. Working from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, she operates a business selling utensils at wholesale prices, earning a good monthly profit.

This will be Fransiska's third loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. Her previous loans, both since repaid, were used to expand her business and pay household expenses, and this one will help purchase an additional stock of utensils. Her dream is to one day own another utensils business in a different area.

Fransiska will share this loan with her loan group "Msakuzi", which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other acountable for paying back their loans.
