Bokk-Diom Group's story

The group exists since the formation of the "banc villageois" in April 2010. It consists of 15 woman living throughout the village. They are mostly shopkeepers selling groundnut oil, fish and vegetables in the little local market.

Fama is 52 years old, in the small photo overlay, and is responsible for the group. She is married and mother to six children.

Her business sells fish and vegetables in the village market. She also transforms groundnuts into local oil.

With her loan, she is going to buy groundnuts and vegetables that she will resell at the market.

With her profits whe will earn a living and ensure balance for her family by providing them with quality food.
