A loan of $2,150 helped a member to buy meats, ham, cheese, vegetables and other ingredients.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

13 women from the city of Santaní got together with the objective of improving their incomes through working together and supporting each other. They are hard working, fighters who are very enterprising.

Blanca is one of the members, and she sells all types of food. She remarks that every day she gets up very early to prepare the food she sells. She says she has a good clientele and that helps with her income.

She is asking for the loan to buy meat, ham, cheese, vegetables and other necessary ingredients. She is thankful to the institution and Kiva for the opportunity they have given her.
