A loan of $1,100 helped to buy chicken, meat and staple grains.

Rolando Jose's story

Rolando is 41 years old and is a native of Pueblo Nuevo. He is married and has an 11 year-old child. He works in retail trade, selling meat and chicken. He started his business 3 years ago with his own capital. He was motivated to start his own business because he had studied business administration, but due to the lack of jobs this was the only way that he could use his education and provide for his family. He needs a loan to buy chicken, meat and staple grains, as the Christmas season is approaching and his customers will be increasing their demand for these products. He has plans to expand his business by setting up another stand where he can sell chicken and meat and purchasing a new freezer to store his products.
