Jeanette Yadira's story

Jeanette is 45 years old and a resident of the city of Estelí. She is a single mother with four children, two of whom are independent while the other two live with her and are studying. Jeanette started her business when she was 20 years old, using her own capital that she earned while working for a private company. However, she developed a bone disease and was not able to continue working because of the constant treatments that she had to endure. This did not prevent her from moving forward since she could not support her children with only her pension. She opened a store so that she could generate income and provide what was necessary in order for her children to live.

Jeanette is requesting a loan in order to buy clothing, sugar, rice, beans, detergents, soap, toilet paper, and toys. With this investment, she will be able to restock her store with new and better products that have great need in her neighborhood. One of her goals is to finish raising her children and buy construction materials in order to improve the conditions in her home and in her business.
