A loan of $1,025 helped to buy fodder for his cows.

Rene's story

Rene is 48 years old and a hard-working person. He lives in Quillacollo province, in Cochabamba department. He makes income to support his family by selling raw cows' milk to his neighbors. His wife makes and sells delicious La Paz chorizo.

Rene lives with his family and has four children in his care. He needs this loan to buy fodder for his cows and thereby deal with the problem of a scarcity of feed that exists in his town. This will enable him to continue feeding his cows until the situation improves.

Rene's future plans include taking out another loan to build some stables.
