Natalia's story

Natalia is a hardworking woman. She’s 46 years old, married, and lives in a home of her own along with her husband and her seven children to whom she wants to proviD. a better quality of life. She’s a farmer and arises very early each day to care for her coffee and cacao plants.

For Natalia, her work is very important. This is why she dedicates lots of time to produce a good harvest so that she can sell them for good prices because the quality is very good. What she enjoys mostly about her work is seeing the fruits of her labor after so much work. She considers the most difficult part to be fighting the plant diseases and insects that ruin her crops.

Never the less, she doesn’t lose the hope of continuing to get ahead and she’ll be able to maintain her crops with the money from this loan, by removing the weeds and applying fertilizer. This will be her second loan through MFP and she’s asking for a small loan so that she can complete her work. She’s also glad to be a part of her communal bank, because its members are united and responsible. She will use the money from this loan of 2,000 PEN to buy fertilizer and hire field hands to help weed her crops.
