A loan of $825 helped buy two oxen.

André's story

The borrower is a married father of three children. He is a livestock farmer who specializes in fattening cattle and sheep.

He buys cows and sheep at the weekly regional markets. After four to five months of fattening, he sells them with a sizeable margin. He maintains his family with the income from this activity.

To increase the income, he is requesting a loan of 400,000 francs from UIMCEC to purchase two oxen. His aim is to fence in one of his plots to raise livestock.
