A loan of $750 helped to buy products for stocking her store.

Sonia's story

Sonia, 33, is a kind and very friendly woman. She lives with her partner, and they have two children, ages 16 and 11. She lives in her own house with her children and her partner, with whom she works hard to provide a better quality of life for their family.

Sonia sells groceries in her store. Her business is located on a very busy street, and therefore there is a large flow of people. She has been working in this business for a year, and up to now, she has done it on her own.

She really likes her work, because it allows her to do many things; such as having time to be with her children, at the same time as she is generating income for her family. She has the unconditional support of her partner, with whom she sells every day, and they take turns so that the store isn't stressful for either of them.

She is thankful that everything is going well, and hopes to expand her business in future, and so generate more income. This will be her eighth loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she will have a loan, so that she can continue increasing her working capital. With the amount of 2,000 soles she is applying for, she will buy products for stocking her store.
