Dossi Gisèle stocks up in Togo. In the quest for client satisfaction and to increase her turnover and income, Dossi Gisèle seeks together with the other members of the MAHUSSI group, a third loan from ALIDé, The first two loans were properly repaid.

Le groupe MAHUSSI est composé de trois personnes qui se connaissent de par leurs activité. C'est la troisième fois que ce groupe sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de son activité. La représentante du groupe, du nom de Dossi Gisèle est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Dossi Gisèle est âgée de 29 ans et vit au Bénin. Dossi Gisèle n’a pas fréquenté l’école. Dossi Gisèle est mariée à un chauffeur du nom de Justin. Le couple a quatre enfants tous scolarisés et à leur charge. En plus de leurs enfants, le couple a un autre enfant en charge. Dossi Gisèle vit ensemble avec son mari et ses enfants. Afin d‘assurer les diverses charges de la famille, Dossi Gisèle vend depuis quatre ans, des glacières et des assiettes par le système de distribution. Dossi Gisèle s’approvisionne au Togo. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Dossi Gisèle sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe MAHUSSI, un troisième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Les deux premiers prêts ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
