Genoveva's story

Genoveva was born in the city of Quillabamba but now lives in the city of Urubamba. She is 41 years old, married and has two children.

She carries out her daily activities and runs her business in the city of Ollantaytambo. She has a grocery store and sells all kinds of essential items such as rice, sugar, noodles, oil, milk, bread, sodas, softdrinks, gelatin and other goods. She has been in business several years, which thanks to her hard work, is going well.

Genoveva needs a loan to buy goods wholesale so they will be less expensive. She wants to stock her store with sacks of rice, sacks of sugar, cases of milk and other items.

She is very grateful for this opportunity and committed to paying back the loan on time. She belongs to the communal bank "Señor de Choquekillca" which belongs to the Arariwa Association in the city of Urubamba.
