Diongoma Group's story

The Diongama group was formed on November 15, 2006 at the inauguration of the "banc villageois" of Kambeng Doumassou. It consists of 22 women who live in the same neighborhood. They each manage small shops.

Khady (standing to the far right wrapped in a white scarf) is in charge of the group. She is 51-years-old. She is married and mother to five children.

She sells fruits and vegetables at the central market of her town. She is very experienced in this field because she has worked in it for several years.

With this new loan she plans to stock up on vegetables from the towns for reselling at the market.

She plans to ensure the care of her children.
