Gaudence est une commerçante âgée de 44 ans qui habite la localité de Nyabitanga de la Province de Gitega au centre du pays. Elle vend la farine de manioc depuis 14 ans,un métier qu’elle commence alors qu’elle était cultivatrice. Elle a fait ses études jusq’en 6 è année primaire. Elle est mariée à Bernard et ont ensemble 7 enfants dont 6 sont à l’ecole.
Le crédit Kiva qu’elle obtient lui permet d’augmenter son capital pour acheter une grande quantité de farine de manioc à revendre afin de réaliser de grands bénéfices et accroitre ses economies
