Kuña Pyapy Mbarete Group's story

The Kuna Pyapy Mbarete communal bank has 14 members. The members are hardworking and very responsible women who are neighbors and friends. This group makes up part of Fundación Paraguaya’s Rural Women Communal bank (Comité D. Mujeres Rurales). They are very happy be working in the foundation because they would like to reach the highest level of the program.
Berta is a very sacrificing and hardworking woman. She is a woman who fights to support her family in order to give them the best. She does not want them to deal with the same hardships she has had. She raises and sells animals like chickens and pigs. Her work is going very well and she would like to continue growing the business. One of her goals is to have a farm full of animals.
She is requesting help from the Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva to purchase small animals and food for those animals.
