Mhende Group's story

Rudo is a 33 year old lady and is married with 4 children aged 11, 7, 4 and one. Two of her children go to school. Her husband is employed as a butcher. They have no other dependents.

Rudo sells hair products from the local market in town. She sells braids, weaves and wigs. She has been in the business for 2 years. Currently she does not have any employees. The challenge she faces in the business is that some of her debtors fail to pay on time. She wishes to open a boutique in town in the next 5 years. The loan will improve life for her family as she will be able to pay school fees.
