A loan of $750 helped to buy clay.

Felicitas's story

Felicitas, 32, is a single mother with five children and they all live in her house. She hopes to support and provide a better future for her children. From an early age, her parents taught her how to make bricks. Felicitas is a countrywoman and very proud of it because she's both mother and father to her children.

She has been making and selling bricks for 12 years. She needs the support of hired laborers to maintain her schedule and deliver the work on time to her clients. What she enjoys most about her work is to make bricks and provide timely deliveries of her work. This gives her peace of mind by not losing clients. She considers it the hardest to work well in the rainy season. In the future, she hopes to buy more clay at a reasonable price for brick-making.

This will be her 12th loan with Microfinanzas Prisma (MFP). She's very happy to know that she can once again count with financial support. She likes working with her colleagues from the communal bank since they are responsible. With this loan of 2,000 Nuevos Soles (PEN), she will buy clay for brick-making.
