Virgen Del Carmen Group's story

In the city of Paraguarí, a group of women met with the objective of finding out more about the benefits offered by our institution and they considered it to be a good opportunity. They decided to create their Communal Bank and they called it Virgen del Carmen. They have committed themselves to keep their group together, always treating each other with respect. Currently they are on their fifth cycle of the institution’s Entrepreneurial Women Program.
Maria is one of the group members. She sells silver jewelry and says she always has several different products, hence attracting more customers. She says that thanks to this work she has been able to get through in life and help all her relatives.
She is asking for this loan to purchase rings, chains and other jewelry in order to stock her business and supply her customers’ demand.
