Oscar Vicente
Oscar is a humble farmer in the Nindirí area of Nicaragua. He lives with his wife, who works as a merchant to help with household expenses, and they have children under their care. Their plan is to improve their living conditions because their biggest dream is for their children to attend college. Oscar has cultivated pineapple for a number of years. The biggest problem he faces is when pests invade his crops, since he lacks fertilizer and necessary ingredients for better production. He is grateful for the support Afodenic provides through the Kiva loans since there are many farmers who benefit from these programs.
