A loan of $3,625 helped a member to buy beer, wine, liquor and whisky for later sale.

San Salvador Group's story

The San Salvador communal bank was formed when several neighbors in the city of Mariano Roque Alonso came together. All of the members of the bank have their own independent businesses, but they also conduct some of their activities in common which promotes the unity of all.

Paola is one of these members. She sells all kinds of drinks and states that this business has helped her a great deal since thanks to it she has the necessary income to cover her household expenses and support her family. One of her dreams is to be ale to continue expanding her business and thus continue helping her family.

She is requesting a loan to buy beer, wine, liquor, whisky and other types of drinks so that she is able to meet her customers' demands.
