A loan of $200 helped to buy sacks of fertilizer.

Elida's story

Elida, 19, is a responsible daughter. She lives with her parents in Hualahoyo. She has two passions: knitting and her business administration courses. She’s very close to finishing her career which is made possible thanks to her knitting caps and purses; her customers place large orders throughout the year. She thanks God because there’s always work. In addition, she takes advantage of potato planting season to earn extra money because she looks for members to earn money with. Now, she wants to go into the Christmas decorations business.

This is the first MFP loan; she is grateful for the support she receives because it will help her make business progress. She promises to be punctual with her payments because her communal bank is composed of responsible and mutually supportive people. If Elida were to receive your support, she will use the money to buy natural fertilizers for her potato crops.
