Sy, 47, is married and resides with her husband in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for quality palm products. Sy is a farmer and her husband is a teacher in a local school. Sy is requesting a loan of US $500 to purchase rice to stock and then sell when the price is profitable. By doing so, her family will be able to generate more income. In the future, Sy would like to use any additional income to repair her house. This will be her first loan from KREDIT, a longstanding Kiva partner.
KREDIT Microfinance Institution Plc., is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia.
