Vladimir is a single man. He owns a car that he uses to operate a taxi service. He's working day and night to pay for a small house that he wants in case he decides to have a family one day. Without a house, he and any family that he has would have to live in an "anticretico" [a rental-purchase arrangement common in Bolivia] or a rented house. He is applying for a loan to buy a large supply of gasoline, something that will allow him to reduce his fuel costs. Gasoline prices are more expensive by the day, so buying a wholesale supply of gasoline will allow him to reduce his costs, increase his income and improve his quality of life.
