Vidal

A loan of $375 helped to buy soft drinks, dairy products, sausages, and other products that have a high turnover rate.

Vidal's story

Vidal is 51 years old. He lives in a village in the Jesus de Otoro municipality. He has been married to his wife, Orfilia, for 27 years. She is a housewife. The couple has four children; ages 32, 30, 28, and 22. Vidal lives with his wife and a grandson. One of his children helps him financially.

Three years ago Vidal started a grocery store with only 20,000 lempiras. In the grocery store he sells staples like dairy products and basic grains. He also sells products like toilet paper, churros, and medications. He tends to his customers from six in the morning until nine at night.

He established the grocery store in order to work for himself and to grow as a merchant. Vidal previously devoted himself to farming.

He requested this loan for 7,000 lempiras to stock his inventory by purchasing soft drinks, dairy products, sausages, and other products that have a high turnover rate. He wishes that his business continues growing.
