Le groupement AYIDOTE HOUEGBO-ALIHO est composé de seize membres. La représentante de ce groupement, du nom de Yvette est celle ayant une main levée sur la photo. Dans le but de rehausser le niveau de leur activité afin de mieux faire face à la demande de leur clientèle, ce groupement sollicite l'appui financier de ALIDé. Yvette est âgée de 27 ans et vit au Bénin. Yvette est mariée à un chauffeur du nom de Egoudjobi. Le couple a trois enfants, dont certains scolarisés et tous à leur charge. Yvette et son mari vivent ensemble avec leurs enfants. Pour subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de ses enfants, Yvette mène comme activité depuis une dizaine d'année la vente d'oignons et des épices dans son quartier. De façon secondaire, Yvette vend des sésames. Yvette s'approvisionne dans une ville du Bénin. Dans le but de renforcer leur activité et mieux satisfaire à la demande de leur clientèle, Yvette et les autres membres du groupe AYIDOTE HOUEGBO-ALIHO sollicite un premier crédit auprès de ALIDé.

About Alidé

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
