A loan of $750 helped to buy candy and soda.

Jade's story

Jade, 29, is a hard-working woman who very much wants to make progress and get ahead. She lives with Edgar and from this union has three beautiful children, ages 13, 8, and 2, and they live comfortably in their own home. Jade works selling candy and soda, for which she equipped a small space in her house where she arranged all her candy merchandise and put in a refrigerator, where she keeps her sodas at a temperature that her customers like, their preference being for the temperatures of this tropical climate. Seeing the welcome her business had, she decided to continue. Now she has seven years in the business, and has the help of her daughter to take care of the customers, who are mainly her neighbors. What she likes about her job is being active, feeling herself a busy and productive woman, because it distracts her and allows her to socialize with the neighbors and exchange ideas, managing in this way to gain their friendship. With this socializing she has been able to gain the preference of her customers, and now she has plans to expand her business and diversify it with groceries and open a store. This will be her third loan with the MFP institution, for which she hopes for your collaboration to continue with her goals. On the other hand, she feels comfortable with her group, since she considers them responsible and supportive people. With the requested amount of 2000 PEN, she will buy larger quantities of candy and soda at lower prices to get better profits.
