A loan of $675 helped to buy thread, dyes, and other materials for the creation of hammocks and blankets.

Silvino's story

Silvino is 30 years old. He lives in Carapeguá with his wife, Gricelda and they have one child.
Silvino has worked as a street vendor for 6 years. He makes hammocks, Aho Po´I (fine material) blankets, and other artisanal items. He takes his products to the market in the country’s capital, transporting them quietly and comfortably on his motorbike
His wife makes her own artisanal products and sells them as well. He asserts that their products are of good quality. They are part of a hard-working family as his father works in the same trade. It was his father that taught him that he must work in order to provide his family with a roof over their heads, food, and an education.
Silvino is requesting this loan to buy raw materials such as thread, colored dyes, and other supplies for the creation of the hammocks and blankets that he sells.
