Safia Bibi's Group's story

Safia bibi is a 36-year-old woman. She is married and lives with her family: her husband, 9- and 5-year-old sons, and a daughter who is 7 years old. All of her children go to school to get an education.

Safia works as a seamstress at her home. Along with her main job, she is actively involves in her household works. Her husband operates a pesticide selling business. He mainly sells his products to the farmers, who buy pesticides from him for their lands. He has been running his business for many years.

Safia is requesting a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband’s business. He will use the loan in buying pesticides in bulk quantity to be able to fulfill the larger orders of his customers and increase his profits. Safia is hopeful that the loan investment will bring positive financial changes to her husband's business and her family will use the increased income for their well being.
