A loan of $375 helped to buy corn and firewood.

Indrid Cenelia's story

Originally from Trinidad, a municipality of Estelí, Indrid, 27, is a humble, simple young woman who makes and sells tortillas. She has been in business for three years and started out by delivering tortillas for different eateries in the town. She is married and the mother of two youngsters, ages 5 and 1. Her business allows her to be close to her children and take care of the home while generating an income for the family's well-being. She is requesting the loan to buy corn, the main ingredient for the tortillas, and firewood to sell for extra income. She enjoys working and plans to open an eatery in the future and provide work to local women by hiring them to help her.
