A loan of $2,275 helped a member to buy chickens to sell on.

Santa Lucia Group's story

11 women from the city of Caacupé work together to earn a better income to help their families. They fight every day, as they want to give their families the best so that they don't want for anything.

One of them is Sustiana, who sells chickens for a living. She says that her business is going very well as she already has a good customer base.

Thanks to her work and sacrifice, she has been able to support her family and cover their basic expenses. She and her friends, the members of the communal bank, want to help their families and give them a decent life.

She is asking for this loan so she can buy chickens to fulfil her customer's orders. She thanks the foundation for the opportunity it is giving her.
