A loan of $575 helped to buy tables and chairs.

Lydia's story

Lydia is 49 years old and is a very responsible woman. She became a widow three years ago and during this time she has had to more two of her five children ahead, Bryan and Gustavo, who live with her in her own home in El Tambo. Every morning she awakens knowing that she will have a good day. She is talking about a soda fountain where she learns everything she needs to know about starting her own. Her work consists of making juices from different fruits and tending to customers. She is paid 20 PEN per day. In the evening she opens to sell the delicious soups and things that she knows how to prepare with much dedication. She works seven days a week without a break. Most of her sales come on weekends, so she keeps working. She also rents out rooms in her home. She is saving her earnings to be able to open a large well stocked restaurant where she can offer a wide variety of food. She knows that she will do it because she is hard working.

This will be her third loan through MFP, where she awaits your support to be able to continue her work. She also promises to make her payments on time and she is happy to belong to such a united and responsible group. She will use the money from this loan to buy tables and chairs for her business.
