A loan of $375 helped to buy cows and bulls.

Edgar's story

Edgar, 32, is a happy man since he has lived with his wife Ronaldina for 12 years. Together they have four children, all of them minors whom they care for in their own home, located in the community of Vista Alegre. His constant trips to different markets in the country allow for him to make good profits, all thanks to selling animals such as sheep, cows, bulls, burros, and horses. As he tells it, he earns an average of 100 PEN for each animal. His work is demanding, since he has to travel a lot. After each trip his takes a month to rest. He takes advantage of that time to take care of his potato and barley crops, which at each harvest he sells in the market in Acostambo, which is every Friday. He says his finances are stable, all thanks to his wife who manages the profits and takes care of the crops when he is away. He belongs to the Jatum Llacta solidarity group, and this is his first loan with MFP. He hopes for your collaboration so he can realize his plans. On the other hand, he promises to make his payments. In addition, he enjoys being part of his bank because all the members are responsible and supportive people. When Edgar receives his support he will invest the requested money in buying several heads of cattle.
