A loan of $2,100 helped to buy spare auto parts for his business.

Armen's story

Armen is fifty-five years old; he was born in the city of Kapan. After graduating high school, he enrolled in Kapan's construction college.
Armen is married and has three children: two sons and a daughter. His oldest son is unemployed and lives with his parents; the younger son and daughter live separately with their own families. Armen's wife works as a librarian in the local library.

In 2005, Armen began his business as an entrepreneur on the local market where he rents a small shop. He sells autoparts, which he purchases two times a month in Yerevan. Thanks to his business, Armen is able to provide for his family. He works without weekends and has accumulated many regular customers.

Armen has already received loans five times. Now he's requesting 800,000 drams in order to purchase brake shoes, headlights, engine oil, paints, instruments, etc. for his store.
