Susanna's story

Susanna was born in Georgia in 1958 and currently lives in Armenia, in the Achadjur village of the Tavush region. She is married and has a son, who lives separately and plans to get married soon. Susanna's husband is a retiree. Susanna teaches and parallel to that is involved in gardening. Her husband and she have a small vineyard and garden, where they grow plums, apples and persimmons. They primarily use their harvest to satisfy their own family needs, but when the harvest is especially rich, they sell part of their product. In order to increase their family income, Susanna and her husband want to start growing fruits for sale and need a loan in the sum of 1,000,000 dram for this purpose. They will able to use the loan to fence off a plot of land for a garden and buy persimmon and fig trees.
