A loan of $1,675 helped a member to buy a buffalo for her animal sales business.

Hafeez's Group's story

Hafeez operates her business from home and has some buffaloes for that purpose. She sells them for profit after raising them. She also sells their milk to her community clients and earns good profits.

Hafeez is also a sewing expert and works for her clients in the neighborhood. She is very fond of sewing and makes beautiful clothes that earn her reasonably good profits. She started this sewing business because she wanted to save some money for her children's future. Her husband is a driver by profession and provides transport services to his passengers. Hafeez has given birth to five children. All of them are enrolled in a local school and are getting their education.

Hafeez has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the further improvement of her agriculture business. With the loan, she will purchase another buffalo. This will allow her to earn greater profits from her business. Hafeez is very experienced in her business and has been operating it for many years. She is confident that a loan will help her improve the living standards of her family by increasing her profits.
