A loan of $1,200 helped to buy merchandise such as clothes, shoes and cosmetics.

Claudia Ramona's story

Claudia is 50 years old, married, and from León. She has five children. She takes care of her youngest, who is 14 years old and disabled, but the others are independent. Claudia's business is sewing, and selling general merchandise. She has been selling clothes, footwear and cosmetics for 12 years and has been a seamstress for 8 years. She used to work as a domestic worker, cleaning people's houses. Claudia's husband helps her with what he earns as a bus mechanic.

Claudia needs this loan to buy merchandise such as clothes, shoes and cosmetics to sell during the Christmas season. She would like to set up a store where she can sell clothes and general merchandise. She does not stop working with her sewing machine, as she would like to achieve this goal and make progress in her business.
