A loan of $1,125 helped to buy fabrics, elastics, thread, and other materials.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is 59 years old and a widow. She lives with her grown son, age 40, who is with her and supports her at every moment. Yolanda lives in a house that she owns. She works as a seamstress and learned this trade by watching and helping her sister at her small workshop. As a result, she gained the necessary knowledge and experience. With a small amount of capital, Yolanda purchased a sewing machine, the main piece of equipment for her work. She started mending clothes for customers. What she likes about her job is the income that she generates so that she can pay for the household expenses. In addition, she enjoys sewing and making undergarments and clothing for all ages. Yolanda gets fatigued by the long hours in the same position, which causes her to hurt. However, she continues to strive forward because she wants to buy another sewing machine.

This will be her 20th loan with the MFP organization. She is grateful for the financial support she has received and wants to continue receiving this assistance. For this reason, Yolanda promises to complete her payments, just as she did with her previous loans. The amount she requested will be invested in the purchase of sewing materials such as fabrics, elastics, thread, and other items. She seeks to find the best quality of products at a lower price.
