Kuña Guapa Group's story

The “Kuña Guapa” women’s committee is starting the first cycle in Fundación Paraguaya’s enterprising women program. They work as a team and in a mutually supportive way always in a spirit of mutual respect and support. Besides the individual work of each one of them, they also conduct group fund-raising activities in order to have some group capital.

Serafina is divorced and has a son. She manufactures sheets and pillowcases that allows her to support her son and alleviate costs that arise day to day. She comments that all the sacrifice she makes is for her son because she wants to give him all the best so that he should not have to go through any privations. She’s asking for the loan to buy fabric, thread, elastic and other supplies that will be of much help in her workshop.
