A loan of $700 helped to buy wood for his carpentry workshop.

Alberto's story

Alberto is 43 years old and married to 38-year-old Herminia who takes care of their house. The couple have five children: 18-year-old Ana who is currently in the third year of high school, 16-year-old Lucia who is in the second year of high school, 7-year-old María who is in second grade and twins Juan Valentín and Juan Alberto who are 12 years old and in seventh grade.

Alberto has a carpentry business which he started approximately eight years ago. He started out working for other people in the same field as an employee but then decided to start his own business and work for himself. With effort and some savings, he managed to set up his own carpentry workshop and, over the years, his business became established and he managed to position himself in the market. He says that all the hard work he does is so that he can provide his wife and children with everything they need to lead a decent life.

Alberto is requesting a loan to buy all kinds of wood, which is essential in his workshop, so that he can fill the orders that he has.
