A loan of $800 helped to buy sports garments for subsequent sale in her store.

Carmen's story

Carmen is a very jovial person and lives in the city of Villa Elis. She has been married for 18 years and has two children - the oldest is 17, and the youngest is a girl of 11 years. Her husband owns a metal workshop, and he helps to pay the household expenses.

Carmen explains that she always used to work with small sales, using catalogs to sell products initially among her friends, neighbors, and relatives. Gradually, she started selling to various offices of several companies where she sold mainly women's lingerie. Much later and with great effort, she decided to find a sales premises and rented a room inside a gym. Here, she has been able to sell garments such as cycling shorts, t-shirts, tops, stockings, fine lingerie, and more.

Carmen says that she has good clientele who never complain about her products, as the good prices and overall quality of her products have meant that they sell very well. She has requested this loan to purchase more apparel for subsequent sale in her store, as she always has a lot of orders that she would like to be able to fulfil.
