Nonvignon2 Group's story

The NONVIGNON2 group is made up of three people who live in the same quarter. This is the third time that the group has sought a loan from ALIDé in order to boost business. The group's leader, Rufine, has her hand raised in the photo. She is 32 years old and lives in the Benin. Rufine has never attended school. She is married to a butcher called Olivier with whom she has two children who attend school. Rufine lives with her husband and children, and the couple work together to see to their family's needs. In order to see to the family's needs, Rufine has sold vegetable oil and canned foods from a quarter in the Benin for the past five years. She sources her goods from the market in the Benin. In order to meet her customers' needs and to boost business Rufine and the other members of the NONVIGNON2 group are seeking a third loan from ALIDé. The first two loans have been successfully repaid.
