Upper Naava South A Group's story

The group leader of this small group is Betty J.. She is currently in the business of selling new clothes and is requesting a loan to boost business. Betty is 30 years old and is married. Her husband is an electrician. She has 2 children aged 10 and 16 and her children go to school. Each week, Betty makes approximately UGX 20000 in profits and with the extra profits from her loan, she hopes to be able to invest in the business and also construct a commercial house Betty has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before in the amount of UGX 200000 in order to invest in her business and the loan was paid back on time.

Betty is joined in her small group by Rose G., Jacenta L., Pegie K., and Joyce L.. Rose G. has a business selling matooke and wants to purchase more matooke for sale. Jacenta L. is currently operating a business selling charcoal and wants a loan to increase business. Pegie K. operates a tailoring business nd wants to buy a sewing machine.
