A loan of $4,350 helped a member to purchase 10 crates of soft drinks for resale at a profit.

Foi Plus Group's story

Foi Plus is a community bank made up of 24 micro-entrepreneurs whose chairman is Yannick. These members are united for the same goal- to grow their businesses with loans received from Kiva through IMF HOPE RDC.

Yannick sells soft drinks in his area located in the eastern area of Kinshasa. He has been in the business world since 2010, selling the same product. After hard work and good management, he succeeded in making it thrive thanks to the accumulated profits. He is happy to be one of MFI HOPE’s clients. He intends to reinforce the capital with the next loan by adding some more crates of soft drinks. The business gives him a profit of 20 USD every day.

Yannick’s ambition is to open a soft drink facility in his environment. He is 26 years old and single.
