A loan of $375 helped to bring his motorcycle in to the mechanic.

Pascual's story

Pascual, age 22, is single and lives in a rented home in a development of the Valle Dorado in the Pichari district. Pascual is a young, enthusiastic man with a desire to excel. He had to stop studying due to lack of funds; he was just barely able to finish secondary school in a state school. He took night classes while working during the day renting motorcycles, which provided him with a small income. He bought his own second-hand motorcycle. He now offers a transportation service to all parts of the Pichari district. He has the most work from 7:00 am to 8:30 am, and then from noon until 1:00 pm. He is happy, because he is succeeding thanks to his hard work and perseverance. This has helped him to keep going. He is also motivated by his obligation to his younger siblings who need his support. For the future, he hasn't ruled out going back to school in order to get ahead.
This will be his first loan with MFP, so he promises to repay his quotas punctually. With the 1000 nuevos soles, he will invest in bringing his motorcycle to the mechanic for maintenance.
